first and foremost, these stories must be real [go figure]. other than that, anything is pretty much acceptable, though we do reserve the right to edit stories if needed, and we'll work hard at not changing the feel or intent. be real, be honest, but don't be mean, hateful, revengeful, etc. don't write while heated. an example from elsewhere [be forewarned, there is a swear word] is by anne lamott. granted, she is a writer [and she writes very well], but we can all write down what we've experienced and learned, the pieces of God we see while peeking through the slats in the window. if you'd like, we've got a group of writers that can help you with expressing what you are thinking and feeling. they can be poems or fragments of sentences, even a doodle or painting if neccessary. help make this an area where we can look back and see God active in our community. thanks.
