who is the gathering community [aka, gat.community] and what do they look like? where do we go, what do we do? that'll be what you'll find here. years ago we had some hilarious interviews, and we'll be doing that again here [check out tyler's and the candle chick]. for now, we'll give you a quick blurb on some of the people involved with the gathering, including the infamous «candle chick» as well as those that take the time to set-up and pray for the gathering. here is a list of some people who put time into the gat and have been pushing the vision and a lot of others that are members of the community [being part of the community means more than just doing things]. part of what we want to be about is more like stone soup, in all areas. we'll write up info on all of them soon, and some of it might even be true. |

matt poling - worship guy
Matt Poling is on staff with Casas as our worship leader. He and the band have written songs that have successfully expressed the passion for worship for much of the Gathering. The team enjoys pointing out that Matt’s very existence is worshipping God. |

dann niegocki - atmosphere and art chump
Dann Niegocki works with the look and feel of the Gathering. He produces the Gathering, working to communicate the message of Christ through art. He is working to expand the role of arts in the Gathering and also leads a small group. He helped design the Casas logo and the Casas cross and currently serves on the Casas Council. |

daniel bishop - writer+
Danny Bishop is the youngest member on the team but you wouldn’t know it. His insight and ability to find the pulse of the Gathering community has proven to be invaluable. He also helps other ministries by designing their websites. |

corey gardner the wise
Corey Gardner is an Elder working with the Gathering as the team’s spiritual overseer and counselor. His solid foundation and even keel has helped the team and the Gathering immensely as they work to understand the Gospel as expressed in the hearts and minds of the Gathering. |

travis williams - his laugh is the one you hear each week
Travis Williams’ role is to connect people at the Gathering, to involve them in small groups where life-change can occur. Through organizing larger events, opportunities are provided for people to bring their friends who have never visited a church to find like-minded folks and experience God’s love through his people. |
